Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah addressed the 'Kol Janjati Mahakumbh' organized on the occasion of Shabri Mata Janm Jayanti at Madhya Pradesh.

Amit Shah, who serves as both the Union Home Minister and the Minister of Cooperation, spoke at the 'Kol Janjati Mahakumbh' event held in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, to mark the occasion of Shabri Mata Janm Jayanti. During the event, Shah paid his respects at Maa Sharda Shaktipeeth and was joined by several prominent figures, including Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

- Amit Shah, the Home Minister, shared that 70 development projects worth Rs 507 crore had been initiated under the guidance of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and several other projects worth Rs 26 crore had also been inaugurated.
- The Home Minister of India emphasized that Antyodaya signifies creating opportunities for the underprivileged members of society to live with respect and self-esteem.
- The Home Minister acknowledged that since Narendra Modi assumed the role of Prime Minister in 2014, his administration has prioritized the welfare of tribal communities, Dalits, as well as marginalized and economically disadvantaged individuals.
- Prime Minister Modi has diligently worked towards fulfilling every commitment and has made great strides in implementing welfare programs for the impoverished at the grassroots level.
- Amit Shah further revealed that the Kol community played a significant role in India's struggle for independence.
- Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is investing 200 crores in constructing museums across the country to commemorate the sacrifices of tribal freedom fighters. The bravery of the Kol rebel from 1831 is commemorated in each of these museums.
- The government of Madhya Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, has honored and celebrated the courage of individuals such as Gond Maharani Durgavati, the selflessness of Rani Kamalapati, and the contributions of freedom fighters Buddha Bhagat and Jova Bhagat. Their legacies are remembered and cherished by the state government.
- The Home Minister, who also serves as the Minister of Cooperation, disclosed that under the previous government, the Tribal community was allocated Rs 24,000 crore in the budget. However, since Prime Minister Modi took office, this amount has surged to around Rs. 90,000 crores.

They come in various sizes, from small local groups to large international organizations, and can address a wide range of concerns, including human rights, education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and disaster response. These organizations typically operate as non-profits and rely on donations and grants to support their programs and initiatives.
History of World NGO Day 2023
The Council of the Baltic Sea States' Baltic Sea NGO Forum officially acknowledged this day on April 27, 2010. It was formally accepted by the forum in 2012. In 2014, February 27 was designated as World NGO Day, marking a significant milestone for the NGO community worldwide. It was the first time an international calendar day, now recognized as World NGO Day, was inaugurated on this day.
The Baltic Sea NGO Forum includes member countries such as Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Norway, and Sweden. Presently, World NGO Day is celebrated in approximately 89 countries spanning six continents.
